How the itinerary varies - Read carefullyThe itinerary will be chosen from time to time by our skipper who will consider some variables such as the overcrowding of the beaches, the weather / sea conditions or the duration of the daytime length. You need to know that the sun sets in Mariolu at 4:30 p.m. in June, whereas this happens at 2:30 p.m. in September. Mariolu can therefore be visited as the last beach in the afternoon in some periods or as the first one in the morning during others.
Cala LunaIn addition to the inflatable rafts fleet, Consorzio Noleggiatori boasts a comfortable 15-metres boat with which we can reach Cala Luna beach and the Bue Marino Caves every hour. The service is ideal for those who are willing to spend little and to visit Cala Luna for several days or for whom arrives to the beach walking a trekking route and wishes to return by sea. Visit our website dedicated to Cala Luna and the services of the Eleventh motorboat.
Further destinationsContact us to reach Cala Sisine, Cala Biriala, Mariolu, Gabbiani, or Goloritzè. We shall manage to offer you a personalized rate for any destination within the Gulf of Orosei
Defined by someone as "the most difficult trekking path in Italy" the Wild Blue is a trekking-mountaineering route that winds along the magnificent cliffs and mule tracks of the Gulf of Orosei and has gained an increasing importance and interest from year to year , becoming one of the most famous and challenging treks in Europe.
The original intent was the search for a path to reache the beach of Cala Sisine starting from Pedra Longa and covering an itinerary as close as possible to the cliffs and then overlooking the sea. Such aim was achieved even if it took two months of exploration to discover the stretch in its entirety.
If you decide to follow it along the original route, the Wild Blue will require a considerable effort: a good physical training, considerable orientation skills and knowledge of topographic maps, adaptability and experience, basic knowledge of mountaineering techniques. The itinerary is mostly marked but it is strongly advised not to rely on the blue signs appearing at intevals along the way. The Consortium provides logistical support for the whole duration of the trek by agreeing in advance the services that will be offered according to your needs. (transport of food, water, any approaching from one point to another, etc.).
